Unban request "Admin abuse" by heizq

You banned a player for cussing/swearing at you and/or insulting you for 24 hours (1-day) instead of issuing them a verbal warning or gagging them prior to resorting to banning them. If you would have read the server rules carefully, you would understand that you should initially warn a player, then you may gag them if they are still disobedient, and only then are you allowed to ban them from the server. Furthermore, the ban length for this kind of minor offense (swearing, cussing and etc.) should most certainly not exceed 2 hours. You may, however, increase the ban length gradually if the same player continues violating the same server rule after their initial ban expired.

Additionally, you banned a player for 'trying to log into your account' for two months. If you have chosen a protected-enough password, then you should have absolutely no worries of someone trying to compromise your account. This is also an issue that should be directly reported to staff members instead of being dealt with independently, as I don't see it logical to ban someone for 2 months for trying to do something that they are physically unable or highly unlikely to achieve.

So the morale of the story is do not come up with your own set of server rules, do not come up with your own set of ban lengths, and follow the officially proposed/suggested ban lengths in the server rules.
