As far as I recall, you were banned for joining the server back right after you were banned for 'reconnecting', kinda really doubt that within those 15 minutes your brother decided to join the server. Seeing how you were banned for a minor offense (albeit I'm a bit surprised that you decided to appeal the ban only 3 months later), you ban will be revoked. Please be more careful next time and pay attention to the bans that you have received.
Take it as you will, but this will also be your only chance. You won't be unbanned next time.
