Depends. If you did the strafe/bhop really badly. That you gained alot of speed, then no since it's rule breaking. But if you got banned for no reason (Example: for doing just few jumps then probabkbly yes

That's the problem. Many players are soo good that it looks like speedhack

but if a players learns ground strafing, i think he should be able to use that skill to get advantage
